Thanks for posting this. I hate not being able to watch the end of things once I've started them. I swear I would've been freaking out like Daniel if I didn't lol every two seconds at what you were saying. I still shouldn't have eaten lunch while you were roaming torture chambers though.
By the way, I think you're supposed to cook Agrippa's tonic ingredients in the brass bull. I'm not sure because I haven't played the game myself, but that's what I immediately thought of when you lit the fire under the bull.
Hey Lani the door to the Lab should be open after you get out of prison. Hint*Run fast and close doors.*And thanks for posting, I love watching you play this.
AWWWESOME!!! You don't know how much this made my day!! Ihave to admit, I did jump a bit when the monsters ran at you...and laughed at what you said hahaha Now you're in prison...don't drop the soap. lmaaooooooo
I also think you should cook the ingredients for Agrippa's potion in the brass bull. If you help Agrippa you can later have another option for the ending, and I think helping him is worthwhile in the long run. I haven't played the game, but I've been reading a lot about it, so I picked up a few things.
The greatest Let's Play of all time? Spoony did an amazing Let's Play of Phantasmagoria 2. So amazing that I've watched it in it's entirety more than a few times.
Of course, not to discredit Lanipator or this Let's Play.
This is easily one of the best Let's Plays I've ever seen (Not sure if it's scripted or the like, if it isn't I've seen far worse scripted)
All of his work is good, and this is no exception, It's sad when you have to stop anticipating the arrival of a new installment of something as good as this.
Lani, I can't watch your video. Everytime I click the play button and the commercial thing finishes and the actual video is loading, the internet window freezes and "quits" itself.
Oh you poor thing! Don't worry! I'm sure if you go back to part 10 and play with the monster torso and maybe follow the ratty-rats everything will get better!
Thank you for continuing the "Let's Play". It is very enjoyable that you are the only one I've seen to play and not scream, yell, die, or cry when even the slightest hint of a monster appears. :)
You can help Agrippa or not, but I wouldn't, since I just want to see what happens. But that's my opinion. ... Don't drop the soap ...
Yay! Glad to see this LP is back! X3 I was waiting for it. this is one of my favorite things you do. Besides YYHA and DBZA... And all of your movie reviews. And Outside the Otaku... Dangit, I just like all of your stuff. XD
... Was that Sandal I heard? 'Enchaaantment!'?? xDDD I seriously can't believe that I'm peeing my pants in fright one moment and the next one peeing them from laughing too much... not literally, but anyways xDD YOU ROCK!!!
so here r ur ending options you get the revenge ending daniel just meanders out the castle in a daze, the good ending daniel dies but heres aggripa telling him he'll be fine, and the bad ending (you basically stand there and die) alexander disappears the shadow kills u and alexander blabs in ur ear that you'll be celebrated for helping him
If you look up "laudanum" in Wiktionary, it says that it's a word coined by Paracelsus for a tincture of opium. May have come from laudere ("to praise") as you said, or ladanum ("a gum resin") in ancient Greek.
Okay... I lost it on the Space Duck quack but the whole thing has just been absolutely hilarious thus far. I think mostly what I find funny is as this goes on you just start sounding more exasperated than anything. And Daniel is a total bitch, no getting around it.
I love watching your Let's Play of Amnesia! Honestly, I think I've watched all of them three times already. Your comments are just so funny! Please update soon!
P.S. I'm not sure if you've played it already, but if you haven't there is another game by Fictional Games. Amnesia was the seconded(and the last)game they made. The first one was Penumbra, a trilogy. Although, the third one wasn't very scary. There were no monsters, but it put you on edge with just the atmosphere. The seconded was the scariest, but the first was also a little frightening. The entire collection was incredible and very well made. Especially for a first try.
I'm not sure if it would be a good scare for you, but it is a good game. I'd think you would like it, but I could be wrong. You don't have to play it, but just keep it in mind.
oh my god this is hilarious Lani I want to see you play resident evil 4 or some game with weapons no offense to Daniel lol just want to know what you would say with a machine gun in your disposal lol.
omg nick, just because you can see in the dark doesn't mean we can. the entire choir room i just saw color blotches because YOU had to be the tough guy
I believe you are suppose to actually break down the wall behind you in the cell. I'm not exactly sure but i know there is a part where you are stuck in a cell left for the shadow and you can break down the wall behind you.
"I didn't do anything! I'm innocent!" *mocking voice* Lani: ". . . Daniel?" that made me laugh so much you sounded somewhere between ready to laugh and disbelief! Another great LP you just have a talent for finding the humour in anything!
Not all monsters could be real at that level of insanity. Daniel hallucinates, things such as the flies and roaches aren't real. And he can even hallucinate monsters.
I would have been freaked out by the torture devices, but I was stuck for two years with a History teacher that was into that kinda thing, so yeah, not really fazed any more. I know how they worked and many different methods of torturing used during the time that were not even hinted at in the game. Look upon the tortures created by the Church's celibate monks and see why celibacy is a bad thing to force upon men. On the other hand, the spooky music scared me and monsters nearly gave me a heart attack when they showed up as usual. Your delightful commentary keeps me watching when I would otherwise run crying to a cute cat video on YouTube.

ReplyDeletetoo bad daniel couldn't pick up that shovel and bust open the laboratory, but he's weak after all...o3o
ReplyDeletecan't wait to see more.
Daniel do gud!
ReplyDeletefinally something i can look forward too sitting in the hospital yaaaay thank u!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHey Lani the door to the Lab should be open after you get out of prison. Hint*Run fast and close doors.*And thanks for posting, I love watching you play this.
ReplyDeleteWell, great, now you have 10 minutes to break out of the cell before shit goes down and the game ends.
ReplyDeleteDANIEL GOOD!!!
I didn't know there were space ducks in Amnesia! LOL
ReplyDeleteThis is the greatest let's play of all time, yes i said OF ALL FUCKING TIME!
ReplyDeleteAWWWESOME!!! You don't know how much this made my day!! Ihave to admit, I did jump a bit when the monsters ran at you...and laughed at what you said hahaha Now you're in prison...don't drop the soap. lmaaooooooo
ReplyDeleteThank you for uploading this! I thought you weren't doing anymore of this vids XDDD. Sorry about that!
ReplyDeleteMy sis read the hint on top of the screen when it went "sleep" and I thought that looking at them for long would make them angrier XDDD LOL!
Anyway, thanks again I really enjoy your commentary XD. GUD DANIEL XDD you're very funny!
Sylmari
You are gonna want to help agrippa if you want the best ending
ReplyDelete"Something stupid this way comes!"
ReplyDeleteThat's going on my tombstone.
Hahahah I almost died laughing when you died. "Well this is awkward" hahaha
ReplyDeleteOh thank god! I've waited forever for this one. GJ.

ReplyDeleteNot gunna lie guy XD I laughed so hard when you finally died. XD
ReplyDelete"Space duck, how majestic."
"Paint the man, cut the flesh, paint the man, cut the flesh."
when i saw the tittle ...i almost cried and had faith in humanity
ReplyDeleteEVERYONE HE DIDN'T DIE lol it's part of the game so he's still pwning :3

ReplyDeleteYour internet is just afraid... like Daniel.

DANIEL GOOD!!!
I would like it if you helped Agrippa. For one... it probably gets a better ending... and two... More time to watch you be awesome!
ReplyDeleteSo far you're doing a great job, funny and such! Be a good boy, Lani, and save Agrippa.
Yaaaaay, your Amneisa walkthrough is back!) I was afraid you gave up on it..
ReplyDeleteWhy is it that watching you play this is so much more enjoyable than actually playing it?
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU!!!!!!!!!=)
ReplyDeleteI wanna hear you do it in the vegeta voice!
ReplyDeleteYay! Glad to see this LP is back! X3 I was waiting for it. this is one of my favorite things you do. Besides YYHA and DBZA... And all of your movie reviews. And Outside the Otaku...

ReplyDeletexDDD
I seriously can't believe that I'm peeing my pants in fright one moment and the next one peeing them from laughing too much... not literally, but anyways xDD
YOU ROCK!!!
paint the man cut the lines is my new ringtone as well as Daniel sledgehammer! weapon! monster! BAAASh!!!<----that makes me giggle everytime
ReplyDeleteOkay, wait. Wait, wait, wait.
ReplyDeleteIf Daniel tortured people, WITH WEAPONS, what's preventing him from picking up those same weapons and using them to fight monsters?
Are they his friends or something? What?
Getting away from that... Lani, you make me crack up so hard while I'm trying not to scream from fright. Seriously dude, you rock.
This seriously made my day.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite parts: We Didn't Start The Fire reference and ENCHANTMENT!
Awesoooomeeee!!!! 11th part!!!!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see it... gotta run!
Enchantment!!!
ReplyDeleteso here r ur ending options you get the revenge ending daniel just meanders out the castle in a daze, the good ending daniel dies but heres aggripa telling him he'll be fine, and the bad ending (you basically stand there and die) alexander disappears the shadow kills u and alexander blabs in ur ear that you'll be celebrated for helping him
ReplyDeleteDude, total awesomeness
ReplyDeleteHahaha. Amazing playthrough, as always.
ReplyDeleteThe way you pronounce the Latin bits always makes me laugh as well xD I'll throw out my knowledge, since I have nothing else worthwhile to contribute.
Vitae - a form of the word 'life' in Latin. This one is the mispronounced one xD V's are like W's in Latin (well, old latin).
Wee-Tie
Laudanum - This is interesting...Laudare is the Latin verb for praise. So maybe it's praiseworthy, because it helps so much? Dunno.
Keep it up; I watched up through ten in a marathon one day, so i'm glad I got to see that you're back in it.

Huh... did you even try to put the tonic ingredients or the orb together manually?
ReplyDelete"Can we talk about this, OH GOD!, AGGGGGGGH Daniel NOOOOOOOOOOO!"
ReplyDeleteLol Made me wet myself
I can only assume it locked you there
Wait a minute...I know what quack. Krillin! Are you playing too?! xD
ReplyDeleteoh my god this is hilarious Lani I want to see you play resident evil 4 or some game with weapons no offense to Daniel lol just want to know what you would say with a machine gun in your disposal lol.
ReplyDeleteMonster: "Hmp! What was that I heard?"
ReplyDeleteDaniel: "Quack, quack!"
Monster: "Oh, it's just the space duck..."
All who don't get that... shame on you!
omg nick, just because you can see in the dark doesn't mean we can. the entire choir room i just saw color blotches because YOU had to be the tough guy

Weapon!
ReplyDeleteMonster!
BAAAASH!!!
I heard the Space Duck! What a majestic creature!
ReplyDeleteI wonder how light headed you would be after breathing in the mist of blood in the air.
ReplyDelete"Ah, I see you have found the orb pieces."
ReplyDeleteShut up Agrippa!
"garble garble..."
shut up water monster
"YARRRRG!!"
SHUT UP BOJACK!!
