heh, I was just saying to a few friends that if you took all the Desmond bits out of the series it wouldn't make much of a difference at all all they would have to change is instead of the Animus and the templars in present day just start it with the crusades and an order of assassins then follow the apple to italy then america then in AC4 modernday.
Desmond really adds nothing to the game except to break the flow of the story.
I've seen a wagon calmly, carefully, turn around and stroll through the front door of a house, and never be seen again. I have seen a horse running across water as ships opened fire on my vessel. I have seen Achilles in town standing in a T position with mouth wide open and eyes fixed upon nothing. I have had a conversation with a man whose face never moves, his eyes are completely white. I cannot UNSEE Assassins creed 3. It haunts my nightmares Lani. Get through the storyline and never look back.
I gotta really disagree with you on the Desmond part of the story as IMHO his side of the story is the most interesting part I just wish they did more with him then kept him in the Animus they hinted at it with last Mission outside of the Temple but it could have been much better and more Complex if they focused on him instead of the Ancestor.
There's an ios game similar to the pirate game you described Sid Myers Pirates
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge fan of the series but was fairly disappointed with this installment.
ReplyDeleteOne funny bug I encountered was when I went to talk to someone in a bar and they were still holding their rifle while eating their dinner.
