Is this game actually going to have some challenge and require a bit of skill! Le Gasp!Don't worry Lani you still have a bit of training with Yamcha that wont help.
Ultimate Shenron is the giant red Shenron in Dragon Ball GT. You can only make one wish, but after a year, the planet the wish was made on gets destroyed and the dragon balls are scattered around the cosmos.
The reason you are having trouble getting out of the animation that tells you to button mash... the reason you need have that defence circle thing to be charged... while it is charged and you don't use the strike booster, you button mash to get out of the animations after the three buttons... hope that helps
Its not just the Budokai games, Tenkaichi 1-3 and Raging Blast 1 and 2 had some great combos, though it wasn't perfect. RB2 had only like ten movesets or so, plus a couple of unique moves for each character.
Though of course everyone had lots of super moves in all of those games.
Having played UT i can say the training IS important, grinding on the cities is not intended at all, you have to train under lots of masters. You can also get new moves and items by doing 100% of a master, so you should do that.
Hey now he raised Gohan really well for... until whatever age Gohan was when Raditz showed up. When Gohan was doing Algebra problems he would provide emotional support whilst doing handstands and he even taught Gohan how to make some kind of healing goo.
In order to break your opponents combos (the button mashy thing that hasn't worked one time for you at all) you need to have charged your energy: the more energy you have, the more likely you are to break the combo.
Oh, and as for the giant fights... yeah, you can't really level up high enough for those. You just have to keep trying until you learn how the giant moves and then hope you get lucky.
I was disappointed in this one only because there was actually no mention of Spudz fighting one of his dads in the video. I was expecting some epic drama, which wouldn't have matter due to gameplay requirements, but at least there would've been some drama! Now it just looks like Spudz is talking smack indiscriminately to one of the most relevant people in his life. (Because there's no fucking way Goku had any part in raising him.)
Piccolo disapproves of this game. The DODGE! doesn't work.
If you want to play Budokai, go ask a mod to make you a Spudz skin for the Budokai 3 emulator. Be all like, "I'm Lanipator, and this is my favorite modder on the internet. Give me free stuff."

ReplyDeleteJust an idea Lani....maybe grind up Spudz off camera a bit and then film the stuff you actually want to do!

ReplyDeleteDon't worry Lani, there's a DBZ Budakai(?) HD collection coming out November 9th of this year.
I love these videos. They make me want to play Ultimate Tenkaichi again.

Question? Out of Goku, Piccolo, and Popo which one raised Spudz? I would out Goku because... well he doesn't raise anyone.

Maybe Ultimate Shenron is like Ultimate Spider-Man, the same being but in a different universe.
ReplyDeleteYes there is a way to defeat the ape
ReplyDeleteit's Called......DODGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteNot meaning to be negative....but i think Baby is gonna kick your ass soon, very soon.
ReplyDeleteI was expecting lani to yell out DODGE several times.
ReplyDeleteYou're not alone about that....actually expected piccolo to scream dodge.
DeleteKrillin, calling it now. He is the source of all evil, because he got the balls and decided to go Fuuuuuuuullllllllll bitch.
ReplyDeleteAh. Combo fighting. I remember it fondly...
