Actually I believe it was a Dragon Ball Z ova called something like "Bardock episode" Where it was something about the positioning of the planets and moons and Freiza's blast that sent him back in time where he did indeed become the first Super Saiyan
Your character's strength depends on what he's wearing (example android #17's clothes would make you strong/have the same moves as him.) And since broly's outfit was there since the beginning it might be good to try a new and possibly stronger one..
Raditz and Bardock because those 2 are the most under rated characters.
