The Chronicles of Lani Bearbeard: Episode 1- The Legend Begins

I will probably release my server data and other stuff later, also later episodes will be edited down for content more. This is but the begining of the Legend of Lani Bearbeard and his pet Ace the Bearbear

I have my own agenda for starting this series but for the most part I thought it would be a great gap filler until Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs is released. Enjoy!

Lani Plays: Hitman Absolution

Hitman Absolution
This footage was originally recorded for another First Impressions, but unfortunately I ran low on time and as it has been quite a while since the game has been released I thought I'd just type my thoughts out for you. I'll start by saying Stealth games and I have never gotten along. I never had the patience, or tact to get through a game like Deus Ex without killing anyone, I have never sneaked through a dungeon in Skyrim, I have killed just as many people while playing Metal Gear as I do playing Halo. Now that being said when I can turn the old stealth mode on, it is very satisfying to watch a trap go off in a marks face in this game.  I won't say this is a perfect game, the plot confused me at first since I could have sworn in Bloodlines 47 had already left the agency or it broke a part or whatever, you can't choose your loadout at the start of missions,  AI was a bit spotty at times, and all the hand to hand combat takes place in QTE. A side note I know it's working within limitations but the fact that the AI targets always follow the same path sometimes in a loop it kind of makes the set up traps a little less fulfilling. Though I suppose that can't be helped given the whole object of the game. That being said I still found this a fun play through, the new cover mechanic was a nice added touch, the voice acting was well done, and the missions that actually give you freedom are often a lot of fun. There is some replay value in the form of unlockables but not alot. I'll say I had a lot more fun with this game than I did Assassin's Creed 3 so feel free to give this one a rental, and if you are a fan of the series it may even be worth buying. I may pick it up a few months from now when the price has dropped. Anyway that being said here is my play through of the first mission.
