  1. Ya apparently in the marvel universe the "gods" are aliens. With the Asgardians superior strength and long lifespans corresponding to there body density and this body density allows them to better harness there mystical potential. So they could always cop out that there actually gods and that there just aliens.

  3. I've heard talk about the Thor movie, but I am actually more interested in Captain America, not only for the fact that it is (allegedly) going to be set during World War II having Captain America kick some Nazi ass, but they already have some tie-ins with Ironman and Captain America (albeit only a couple of frames of footage in the first movie... As a fan, who mind you is not familiar with many comics, I speculate that the reason for the Captain America shield in Tony Stark's workshop was because either his father worked on the "Captain America" research, or Tony Stark was approached by the government project that made Captain America, and he was working on the shield as he has a lot of knowledge on manufacturing weapons... But I believe that the former is much more likely and a good way to tie the two movies (Ironman and Captain America) together... besides, how could they tie Captain America with Thor other than saying that Captain America happened during World War II?

  5. The only notable person from The Expendables that you missed was Mickey Rourke.

  6. Yeah, some of the (somewhat) memorable names you missed that will be in The Expendables are Mickey Rourke, Eric Roberts, Terry Crews, and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.

  7. Thor isn't the first mystical Marvel character that has gotten a film. Ghost Rider got one a couple years ago.

  9. I liked Iron Man 2 even with the faults and jokes.

Thor though I think will work. I mean, he's worked with the Avengers for years, how is he not going to fit now? Just because he's magic based means nothing, it worked in the animated movies and comics :D And Stan Lee is awesome so it just does.
Though I agree that they didn't need to keep mentioning the guy was going to go to New Mexico like five times.

  10. Did anyone else notice how in the trailers for Iron Man 2 you have Pepper kiss Tony's helmet then him jump off the building saying "you complete me" and how that WASN'T in the movie? Maybe my friend and I just missed it or something because we looked for it! (or at least I did) and it wasn't there!
