  2. I saw it and kind of agree with everything, but there is one concept that made me mad, which was the idea that Freddy was a pedophile, that just was unneccesary.

  3. I can't watch these stupid remakes of cult classic, for one from what i understand they made freddy too serious, the original robert englund made the character kind of like the joker.

  5. Bullshit! Friday the 13th was horrendous! How you thought that N.O.E.S. was worse completely befuddles me.

Bah, I enjoyed it. Wasn't a masterpiece, but a hell of a lot better than a tremendous number of other horror films.

I honestly think that someone who hasn't seen the original films will enjoy this, those who have seen the originals are kind of on a nostalgia kick IMO.

  6. Just stating my honest opinion :/ It was flawed as were all of the others, but then again I have a general bias against horror movies to begin with it's almost my least favorite genre at this point based on how far its gone from its roots. Horror is meant to horrify and movies of this genre (especially the slahser flick genre) have completely lost their way. No longer are we feeling for the characters and hoping they prevail. instead we are watching mindless sheep on the screen be slaughtered by our favorite villains :/

  9. Just thought I should let you know you're in my top five favorite people of all time. Just below Emilie Autumn and Steve Irwin, but right above Bo Burnham. YYH is my favorite anime, and your abridged series is probably the best I have seen for any anime.

  10. I'm incredibly curious about the theme song change in YYHA. The censoring on Karate was hilarious. Now the Bleach theme song... it doesn't seem to fit as well :P

I adore YYHA, and am always excited when I get an e-mail from YouTube telling me there is another episode.

  11. I wish I had seen your Nightmare on Elm Street review before I wasted money on it -_- You were pretty much dead on about it. It was... well, a nightmare lol. There was something that bugged me about it as well that you didn't touch on. Not that I'm all about gore, blood, guts and all that jazz, but the blood spray wasn't right. (semi-spoiler ahead) I mean, at the beginning when the guy cut his throat, there was no blood! Or, at least, very little. It just seemed like a low-budget remake, something which is being done way too much anymore. (another spoiler ahead) It also bugged me that they turned Freddie into a pedophile. It makes no sense that someone who wasn't faslely accused of doing someone and ended up being burned alive because of said accusations would come back to haunt the kids who told on him, unless it's just to mess with their heads. It makes Freddie lose the sympathy quality from viewers, you know? But that's just my two cents.
