  2. Hey watched your reviews and I have to agree with you especially on Terminator Salvation. I know I shouldn't have put my expectations on so high, but it was like you said Christian Bale and Terminator so that equals awesome movie, and sadly it was only "okay" in my opinion. Oh I was so laughing so hard at the I guess cynical comments at how they had so many opportunities to kill John Conner and don't only to have to "big showdown" with a giant naked Arnold Schwarzenegger look-a-like (CGI?), because when I was at the movies I was literally in my sit saying WTF and having all my friends laughing beside me. So thanks for all the great reviews, and sorry for the long comment I could say more, but I think this is enough.

  5. All can say dude is Sam Raimi is great at making movies but he sucks at doing t.v. shows. Check out the book "Wizard's First Rule" read the first chapter and then watch "Legend of the Seeker" first episode and you well see how much he ruined it.

  6. isn't it amazing to know that there are so many people out there that want your opinion and actually care what you think?
    i'm humbled for you. ;)
definitely going to see 'up' and 'drag me to hell' now
    ...although, probably not consecutively.

  7. "Night at the Museum 2" good film the only thing you forgot to mention and warn people of is that there is a "Jonas Brothers" cameo in the film.

  8. hey lani, just watched all ur reviews and i pretty much agree with u on all of them. though i did want tell you a few opinions i had about a few of the movies. in night at the museum 2, one thing that stuck me as odd, but don't get me wrong i love the movie and lol, was the lack of people. i mean real people. its the largest museum in the world and not a single security guard or janitor or just passerbyers. i mean after everything started coming alive it seems to me like everyone on the perimiter just up and left. you would think, spoiler, that a giant Abe Lincoln or a relic plain fly across the yard would get some attention lol. but my fav part, again spoiler, was the 300 spoof they did with the mini guys fighting the shoes. also wanted to point out that i think the biggest problem with wolverine is the choice of character. if they followed the comics they would have been able to get more in depth with weapon x, but they didn't. the blob, dead pool, and bolt where not in the original weapon x. the first people in weapon x where wraith ( the black guy that teleports) saber tooth, silver fox ( the chick logan loves and think dies,)mastodon(which isn't in the movie)and maverick( which is zero but they used a later name he used)though all of the characters in weapon x in the movie were in the x at different points. and 1 last thing. since u say your not too into comics, thought u might like to hear a little tid-bit about dead pool. he is the only character in the marvel universe who KNOWS hes in a comic. if u saw the after credits which im sure u did that's the explanation behind his little shhh bit. anyway soo sorry for making u read so much, ill just shut up now and hope u have a great day ^_^

  9. idk I was a bit excited to hear you decided to begin reviewing seeing that everything else you seemed to dabble with turned into gold (or really nice graphite), regardless I heard about a minute of your Star Trek review and had to say the whole colloqioul (probably spelled that wrong) multitasking side to it seemed to take away from the review it self this is of course based purley on the star trek review. I mean when you're listening to a review and you're agreeing with everything the reviewer is saying and still dislike the review then you know something is aloof (possibly my taste). Also I'd really appreciate it if you checked out my video game review blog xanga.com/retrospecced, trying to suceed where xplay constantly fails at

  11. Nice reviews! ^^b I agree with your review on Up- it was awesome. I need to see it a few more times before it leaves theaters(I've seen it twice in 2D, once in 3D so far.).

And I agree. T4 was only so-so. And Hangover was hilarious. :P

  12. I wondered the same thing in Terminator about why Kyle Reese was more important of a target to Skynet than John Connor.
    But
In T2, little Connor (Furlong) is talking to the terminator about his father and says he wishes he could have met him, to which Arnold replies "you will". So Im guessing there was a way, since this goes back to a Terminator film written by Cameron, that Skynet knew who Kyle Reese was.

Some of the things you said make sense, but personally I still LOVED T4.

Also the whole submarine thing u were saying...maybe salt water corrodes the eel terminators or sumthin lol. Or they just can't chew steel as good as flesh...mmm...flesh...

ANYWAY I'M A HUGE FAN OF ALL YOUR WORK! KEEP IT UP!

  13. oh, when Connor reprogrammed the bike, did you notice it was the same G&R song from the beginning of T2?

  14. I totally agree with you regarding Star Trek, Lani! I'd never really watched much of the show, seen a few of the movies, and my dad's a fan, but I never really had a chance to get into it. But this movie has piqued my interest in checking out the original series. This is also one of the few movies I've actually seen more than once in theaters, and it's the first one I've ever seen in IMAX. In any case, I can't wait for the sequel!

Is it just me, or was Kirk getting his ass kicked all over that movie?

  16. On the point you made with "Night at the Museum 2", keep in mind that the guy with the world domination plot is from ancient Eqypt, he would have no way of knowing about modern warfare, he probably expected any resistance to be in the form of guys with swords.
