  1. That... That sounds so bad. What's weird is that the twist where they're sucking out brains is cool. But after that... Oh my god.

  2. I went to the trailer and like 90% of the comments were "Wow great film you can see it at something movie.net". That shows how awful the movie is

  4. Gotta agree with you on both megamind (decent flick) and Skyline (which first of all reminds me of crappy chili). First really honest review I've heard about it

  7. Wow a regular cavalcade of mediocrity here.

I went and saw unstoppable over thanksgiving break. Went to visit the folks me and my dad went into town and saw it. I have to agree. It was a fun movie to watch but just wasn't at all memorable. I gotta kick that they said "oh there is enough chemicals to destroy a small city in that train." so what do they do? towards the end they make it so they might derail into an fuel depot? seriously? They could have just made it derail and destroy the city because of the chemicals on the train but they added a fuel depot. I had all I could do to not crack up laughing.

  8. Never thought this would happen, but I actually have to disagree with you on Unstoppable, Lani. I honestly outright hated the movie by the end; the "twists" were painfully predictable, basically everyone should have had Generic Disaster Movie Character stamped on their forehead, and I'm including the two main guys. Especially the chick that ran the depot, God she was just awful; if you pay attention she seems more interested in screwing with her hair than averting a disaster in the making, which is just kind of unforgivable for one of the "good guys". What really capped it though, was when the train growled; that was pure SciFi Channel crap, and the fact that ANYONE that made the movie thought it was a good idea ruined the rest of the experience for me.

    But that's me.
